Parenting Education

Every family has strengths and every family can use support. We further believe that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our mission it to help break the multi-generational cycle of child abuse and family violence through parenting education and support.

Our Parenting Education and Support program offers the Nurturing Parent class in Larimer and Weld Counties that teach parents:

• empathy, loving discipline
• normal child development
• how to be there for your child
• how to listen and reason and how to take time for yourself when you are stressed

Class Description

Nurturing parent

This is an evidence-based, 7-week condensed online course designed to teach positive parenting and nurturing skills. The curriculum covers areas including focusing on positive communication, child development, setting age-appropriate expectations, skill building, and coping strategies. Each session offers scientifically-supported tools to enhance family relationships and support healthy child development
