Becky, Nate and Theo
Hello! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us. As we start this adoption journey, we invite you to join us by becoming our family. While we can only imagine your state of mind as you consider adoption, we believe you are very brave. We hope you know it too. We would be honored to support you in any way we can.
We moved from Chicago to Boulder, CO in 2012 to enjoy the outdoors and active Colorado lifestyle. We spend our time hiking, skiing, and getting out with our dog, Henri. Becky plays sand volleyball and Nate climbs with his buddies. These days, we spend a lot of our time at the park with our son Theo. He loves being outside and is a happy, easy-going kid. We love watching him explore and learn new things each and every day. He has the best giggle.
We have so much love to share and look forward to raising another child with an amazing big brother in a stable home marked by constant laughter and unconditional love. If we move forward together, we promise to work hard to honor the adoption through a strong connection between your family and ours. Open adoption is the only way we’ve considered because we believe children need to know where they came from. Our son Theo, while not adopted, has a unique story, too, being born through a surrogate (his aunt). Theo will know his story of joining our family and our adopted child will too.
