Writing a letter to someone like this is tough. It's difficult to know what to say. We have to let you know why we'd be an amazing fit to raise your child while remaining authentic and sincere. Plus, both of us kind of hate talking about ourselves.
So, we'll speak from the heart.
First of all, thank you for considering us to be a part of your adoption plan. We know this isn't going to be an easy choice for you. While we can't make the decision for you, please rest assured in knowing that the child raised in our home will be soooooo loved and cared for.
Having our own child has not been in the cards for us. But, in a way, that’s a blessing. It is allowing us the opportunity to grow our family by welcoming you into our lives and your child into our home - to care for them, bring them to school, watch them play, and make friends... we can’t wait.
The two of us have been blessed. We're best friends. We have amazing family and friends in our lives. And, we have a home to share that opportunity and love with. It truly is an honor to be a part of this journey with you. Thank you for considering us.
